I had a stapes operation on my left ear in December under Mr Patel. Before this I had hearing loss for 20 years but I did not go for surgery before because the previous doctors suggested I would be deaf forever. I came to see Mr Patel because my hearing was getting worse and I wanted to do something for it. I was worried about the idea of surgery, but I saw an audiologist who said so many good things about Mr Patel and his operations and results which made me feel encouraged. I wasn’t worried about the surgery and it was done with me awake. There was no pain at all, and I could hear so well straight after surgery. I am so happy about my hearing now, still getting used to how loud it sounds! I am forever grateful and recommend this operation with Mr Patel for anyone who has the same situation.

I had my surgery done for my ear and I felt completely taken care of by Dr Bhavesh Patel. He was able to listen to my worries and understand my needs. I was very nervous about this operation and he was able to calm my nerves by reassuring me that the operation will go smoothly. My surgery was done successfully and I feel very happy to hear again. I had my operation for otosclerosis 1 month ago at cenfral middlesex with Mr Patel. I am very happy. For the last 7 years my hearing has been getting worse. This had caused me a lot of stress and maxe me depressed. I had my operation while awake and I was amazed by my hearing at the end of surgery. I felt no pain during the surgery. I am delighted with my hearing and so happy to be able hear 10/10. My other ear needs surgery and i would have no worries about doing the surgery again.

I had left side stapes surgery on 15th August 2023 which was carried out by Mr Bhav Patel at The Royal National ENT Hospital, London. I was diagnosed in 2011 and managed my condition with hearing aids. My hearing steadily declined and I could no longer hear in my left ear. I had researched surgery but I was so worried about it and the risk involved, but I can honestly say I needn't have worried. Mr Patel came to see me before surgery, he discussed every step of the procedure with me and listened to my concerns. His manner was so calm which reassured me that I was in very capable hands. My surgery was done under sedation and 40 minutes later I was on the recovery ward! Mr Patel came and told me everything had gone well. I returned 2 weeks later to have the packing removed and could hear for the first time in years! The care I received was amazing and I can't thank Mr Patel enough for his kindness, skill and professionalism and I certainly won't be worrying about my right ear surgery, when the time comes.
